Cleantech Scandinavia reveals the Top 25 most promising cleantech start-ups!

After our annual massive sweep of the Nordic innovation environment to find the most exciting and progressive start-ups around, we ended up with an impressive bunch of close to 100 companies. This year we also saw the highest percentage of first-time applicants since we started the competition and now, after our highly renowned jury have made their choices, we are excited to share this year’s Top 25 list.

Press here to be directed to the entire list!

As always, the selection of the Top 25 signals the next step of the journey that is the Nordic Cleantech Open. Part of the experience and the next step, is participation at the Nordic Camp, a further chance to meet the jury members and pitch for a chance to move on to the Top 10, in February.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our applicants for entering the competition, the level of quality of the applications this year have been extremely good and the jury had their work cut out for them.

We would also like to say congratulations to the Top 25 and we will see you at Trolleholm!

Lots of new events added

There has been a lot of new events added to the Nordic Cleantech Open calendar.

We will have a special Nordic Cleantech Open info meeting in Linköping 7/10. David Frykerås that was in the top 10 last year with his company Againity will chair his experiences and it is also an opportunity to meet with representatives from Linköping Universitet Innovation and Cleantech Östergötland.

Meet us at Green Connect in Gothenburg 11/10 or in Uppsala 19/10. Besides discussing your Nordic Cleantech Open application these are great events if you want to meet angel investors.

If your company is targeting the real estate sector there will be excellent opportunities to pitch your case in front of a grand jury of real estate company representatives and representatives from Malmö Kommun 8/11.

Malmö Cleantech City Award

We just received the good news that we will be running the Malmö Cleantech City Award again together with the City of Malmö.

This gives additional value to all the applicants to the Nordic Cleantech Open that address the built environment as a market. It is great way to present your ideas towards the City of Malmö, The City’s real estate companies (Stadsfastigheter and MKB) and towards the jury with decision makers from leading real estate companies that we will put together (to be announced soon).

We will hold two events in Malmö during the autumn with possibilities for applicants to present their cases to the City and to the Jury. Dates and subjects of these events will be announced soon.
